A management key date is a date that's important in the lifecycle of a property or tenancy regarding the property management. Key dates are split into two types:
Property Key Dates - Dates specific to the property, such as gas safety certificates, that need to happen regardless of the state of a tenancy
Tenancy Key Dates - Dates specific to the tenancy, such as move in dates, inspections etc.
These key dates are customisable and can be managed under 'Property Hive > Settings > Custom Fields > Key Dates'.
At the moment these will need to be setup manually, however in future we will create a default set of these when Property Hive is installed or updated to get you started and hopefully demonstrate the types of dates that might fall into each category.
Key dates can be accessed from a number of places, including the admin menu:
