Merging contacts
Merging contacts is irreversible. Please be sure you know what you're doing and/or have a backup.
If you find yourself with 2 or more contact records in Property Hive for the same person, Property Hive comes with the ability to merge them.
From the main contacts list simply select the contacts you wish to merge and select 'Merge Selected' from the bulk edit dropdown:
This will present you with an overview of the selected contacts:
Simply select the contact you wish to use as the primary contact record and any secondary contacts details, assigned records, appointments, notes, history and more will be merged into this chosen one.
The secondary contacts will then be deleted leaving just the one contact and a note will be written to the notes grid on the contact record.
