Installing and activating Property Hive
Installing the core Property Hive plugin is quick and easy and is possible via two methods:
Option 1: Installing the core plugin through WordPress (fastest, recommended)
The easiest way to install the Property Hive plugin is through WordPress itself. By completing the installation this way, WordPress handles the download and installation of files on your behalf, without you having to leave the browser. This makes it quicker to get started and is also great if you're not comfortable with moving files around.
To perform an automatic installation simply follow the steps below:
Login to WordPress.
Navigate to ‘Plugins' > 'Add Plugin’ in the left-hand menu.

If you don’t see the ‘Plugins’ option in the left-hand menu it may be that your user account doesn't have the correct access level to do so. In this scenario, you will need to ask an administrator to install it on your behalf, or ask for your access level to be increased so that you can install it yourself.
Perform a search for ‘Property Hive’:

- Locate the 'Property Hive' plugin and click the 'Install Now’ button:

- It may take a few seconds for the plugin to be installed. Once complete, click the ‘Activate’ button:

During the process of installing Property Hive via this method, you may get taken to a page requesting the FTP details of your webserver. When you’re prompted for these details, fill in your details to complete the installation. If you don’t know this information, you will need to contact your hosting company and/or developer who will be able to provide this information.
