Deleting imports

There are a few reasons why you might want to delete a property import:

  • You've changed to import from a different CRM
  • You've set it up in error or was simply testing it

Here are the steps to delete an import and clean up any properties:

Step1: Pause the import

If the import is still running, be sure to pause it first.

Step 2: Delete the import

With the import paused you'll then have the ability to delete it:

Upon clicking 'Delete' you may get a warning, depending on whether you have properties imported via this import or not.

Click 'OK' if happy to proceed. We'll discuss clearing up these old properties in the next step

Step 3: Clear up old properties

If properties have been deleted via the import you're deleting these will remain in Property Hive and won't be deleted automatically when the import is deleted.

The delete these properties, navigate to 'Property Hive > Properties' and filter by the import in question via the 'Added Method' dropdown:

This will list all imports, including deleted ones. Deleted ones will have '(Deleted)' in the name to make it easier to differentiate them.

From there you can bulk update or delete these properties accordingly.
