An introduction to integrating Property Hive to your website
The beauty of Property Hive is just how flexible it is when it comes to integrating with the frontend of your website.
There are lots of options when it comes to integrating it into your site and, as with most things, it comes down to a few factors: how bespoke you want the property pages, your technical expertise, the theme you've picked etc.
In this guide we'll walk through the various options available to you:
Use our free Honeycomb theme
We have our own free theme called Honeycomb.
By using Honeycomb, all Property Hive related functionality will come styled out of the box.
Logos, colours and more can all be changed offering a quick way to get a site up and running.
Use one of the supported page builders
The rise of page builders over the last few years makes it easier than ever for anyone to build a WordPress site, regardless of their technical expertise.
We integrate with the leading page builders and are always looking to expand on this. The page builders we integrate with at the moment include:
Elementor - We've got a great integration with Elementor Pro allowing you to build search results pages and property details by dragging-and-dropping in our Property Hive widgets to the templates.
Divi - If you're using Divi to build your website, you can build the property details template and you'll notice a wide array of Property Hive widgets available to use:
Bricks Builder - If you're using Bricks to build your website, you can build the property details template and you'll notice a wide array of Property Hive widgets available to use:

Use an off the shelf real estate theme and our data bridges
There are real estate themes that you can buy off the shelf where all of the property components and pages come styled out of the box.
Some example of these include:
- Houzez
- WpResidence
- RealHomes
- RealEstate7
- RealesWP
You can actually use these in conjunction with Property Hive as we have built, what we call, 'Data Bridges' for these themes.
The data is entered into Property Hive and, at regular intervals, these Data Bridges convert the data form Property Hive to a format that the theme can understand.
Using Houzez? We actually have a sister plugin called Houzez Property Feed dedicated to importing and exporting properties to Houzez that we highly recommend:
Customise the templates (Advanced)
Using a theme not listed above or one you've built yourself, and want to really get bespoke in terms of layout? We've got you covered as all of the Property Hive templates can be customised.
Note that this does involve moving files around and getting into HTML and PHP so is only for the advanced.
For more information on templates and how to customise them please see this guide.
