Obtaining certificates

When setting up a real-time feed, part of the process will require you to upload a certificate:

The way in which you obtain this certificate will differ based on the portal you're looking to feed to.

We've included the most common portals and instructions on how to obtain the certificates below:

Rightmove

Let Rightmove know that you're looking to send a real-time feed and they'll send you everything you require.

In terms of the certificate they'll send you a password-protected ZIP file and the password to extract the files.

Inside this ZIP file will be a .pem file which is the one you'll want to upload into the RTDF settings area.

The certificate password (they call this the 'Keystore Password' in their email) will also be sent across as part of the same email.

OnTheMarket

This one's a little different in that, whilst letting them know you're looking to setup a real-time feed, you'll also need to send them a mobile telephone number.

They'll email a link where you can obtain the .pem file which will require a password that is sent via SMS to the number specified.
